Non-binding Congressional resolutions ... Anna Nichole Smith ... the Libby/Valerie Plame CIA leak matter ... all about as nonsensical as the news media itself. Let's take them one at a time.

The non-binding resolutions do little more than encourage the Islamic terrorists and the insurgents in Iraq. Administration opponents want us to lose the struggle in Iraq which they could do with a binding resolution that would stop the funding of our operations in Iraq, but they lack the guts to do it, thank God. They would rather continue harassing Bush instead of doing anything worthwhile between now and the 2008 elections.

If it weren't for the money in her late husband's estate, Nichole's story would have died with her.

Who really cares about the Valerie Plame matter? She was never in covert operations at the CIA, so what damage was done in revealing her employment there? Just more scheming to blast the Bush administration?

Concern grows over Iran's continued progress toward nuclear weapons making capability. I personally believe we must resign ourselves to putting a stop to it and not wait much longer. Surgical removal of their facilities ought to move forward whether it's done with our military or Israel's. I know that won't sit well with the weak kneed among us, but our survival might well depend on it.
