Nation Has Second Thoughts

Recent elections in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts reflect growing opposition to direction the Obama administration is taking the nation. People everywhere have become down right angry over attempts at healthcare reform, climate change legislation and the supposed stimulus. And it does not bode well for what is likely to be put forward on immigration and other areas of concern to us today.

November 2010 Elections

Unless things change dramatically in the next few months, many seeking re-election in both houses of Congress are going to lose. Most of the losses will come on the Democrat side of the aisle, but a number of Republicans will not fare well either if they have shown any tendencies to move to the left of center. The Tea Party movement coupled with the impact of people like Glen Beck et al has gotten people to think and to reconsider what the founding fathers had in mind when they wrote the Bill of Rights and the United States Constitution. In doing so, we have learned that the current administration and Congress have ignored the Constitution at every turn. Clearly, we must get back to governance under the Constitution.
